Our history
Our
Structure
We operate under the supervision of Ecuador’s Ministry of the Environment (MAATE Ministerial Agreement No. 005, February 2009), governed by a four-member board and supported by a network of coordinators working in the Achuar rainforest.
We are a grassroots organisation that enables hands-on, direct engagement, maintains regular contact with local actors, and sustains a grounded awareness of the challenges faced by the Achuar people, as well as the opportunities for their sustainable development and the conservation of the Amazon rainforest.
